Teaches- Kundalini
Randy (Rai Singh) began practicing Kundalini Yoga in 2004 and is a graduate of the 2007 Yoga Phoenix Teacher Training course. He loves focusing on the breath and keeping the yoga simple. He also brings with him the unique sound of the didjeridu for deep relaxation in his classes.
Kundalini Yoga places significant emphasis on specific breathing techniques combined with postures and movements. Breathing brings life force energy (or prana) into the body. When a person’s breath is shallow, they become out of balance both mentally and physically. Symptoms such as anxiety, irritability, mind chatter, and fatigue are all created when the life force energy of the body is not properly harnessed and directed. The techniques of Kundalini Yoga train the consciousness how to work with energy and breath so that Life Force Energy can be properly harnessed and directed. Kundalini Yoga also combines mudras (hand positions) that balance the body’s energy along with postures, Kriyas (movements) and meditations.
