Entering the Program

Inner Vision Yoga Teacher Training/ Advanced Studies offer 200 and 300 hour programs.  Please note that the 500 HOUR program has the same start date as our 200 hour program.   All programs are state licensed and Yoga Alliance Registered.

To provide you with a program rich with individual attention, a brief application process is necessary to provide you and all students with the best learning experience possible.  Please be sure to specify whether you are interested in the 200 or 300 or 500 hour program.

200 Hour Training

Prerequisites and Requirements

The Inner Vision Yoga Up To 200 hour program helps you prepare for the opportunity to deepen or share your practice of yoga at any yoga studio, gym or other setting where Advanced Studies experience is desired.  Prerequisites include:

• At least six months of active and consistent yoga practice
• Please note: For your own well being and to get the most out of your training, those students wishing to get a certificate and teach will need to enter the training with at least a basic understanding of common asanas and Surya Namaskar to be admitted to the program.  For Applicants new to Inner Vision, you must take a Level 1, Level 1-2, Power, Heated or Ying-Yang Flow class with any of the following teachers- Jeff Martens, Maredith Schroeder, or Aaron Goldberg.  Please contact Maredith to arrange this class as part of your application.
  
• Some meditation experience preferred
• Commitment to attend 2-3 yoga classes per week in addition to Advanced Studies Classes (You will be given 10 weeks of free unlimited yoga to complete this requirement.)

200 Hour Attendance Policy

We make every effort to help you graduate!

If a class is missed the hours must be made up.
Up to 12 Hours may be made up with approved in-studio workshops/retreats.
If 13 or more hours are missed the classes must be made up during the next cycle of IVYTT or [re-arranged substitutions.

Prerequisits and Requirements – 300hr Master Continuing Education for Teachers Program

This is an advanced studies course for teachers who already have a 200 hour certificate.
300 hour program workshops are open to all experienced and dedicated students with more than 1 year of regular, consistent practice.  Completion of this program will provide you with 300 hours of intensive advanced studies to deepen your practice or already established teaching path.

If you are already a teacher, and wish to receive a 500 hour registration with the Yoga Alliance (National Registration body not affiliated with Inner Vision Yoga) you must have:

• Completion of or concurrent enrollment in a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training program.
• At least 1 year of regular yoga practice.
• Some teaching experience (100 hrs yoga or related) Strongly encouraged.  (Required before you can receive Yoga Alliance registration.)

300 Hour Attendance Policy

We do all we can to help you graduate!  It is strongly suggested that you graduate within 2 years for your start dates.  You may make up missed classes with approved alternates or take classes the next time they roll around in a succeeding module.  For specific questions on this policy contact Maredith.
