Yoga has been an integral part of Beth Vershure’s life the past 25 years. A life-long athlete she was initially drawn to the asana component of yoga but soon embraced the peace, balance and mental well-being yoga offers on and off the mat. She studied with Mary Bruce and Christy Burnette and has been teaching since 2009. Her meditative style encourages students to find proper alignment as well as mindful movement, centered breath, balance and ease in their practice. She is drawn to teaching classes on the “gentler” end of the yoga continuum and also loves teaching chair yoga to assisted care and nursing home residents. Beth is Yoga Certified and also holds a PhD in psychology.
